JASPRIT BUMRAH BIOGRAPHY India Cricket is full of Talented players, One of Them is Jasprit Bumrah. He is a young and passionate cricketer of 26 age. His full name is ‘Jasprit Jasbir Singh Bumrah‘.

Jasprit is Right Arm Medium Fast bowler and is very good at bowling Yorkers. He is also known as ‘Yorker King’. He bowls very well in Death overs and found very economical in the last few overs. He has a great grip on the old ball as well. Due to his unorthodox action, he is very difficult for a batsman to pick up his length.

Due to his quick arm action and variation, he is indiscernible for the batsman. Once he said that “Lasith Malinga” taught him to bowl yorkers”. He came in the spotlight when he got three wickets in his first IPL match when he was nineteen years old. He played his first international match for India on January 23, 2016, vs Australia.

 

Bumrah Early Life and Education

Jasprit Bumrah was born on December 06, 1993, in Ahmedabad, Gujrat, India.

He was born in a Ramgarhia Sikh family. When he was seven years old his father Jasbir Singh died.Then his mother raised him single-handed. He started playing cricket when he was 14 years old when he was studying in school.

Family of Jasprit Bumrah

Jasprit Bumrah belongs to a ‘Sikh, Ramgarhia’ middle-class family. His father’s name was ‘Jasbir Singh’ and was an Industrialist. His father died when Jasprit was only 7 years old. His mother ‘Daljit Bumrah‘ was Principal Nirman High School, Ahmedabad at that time when Jasbir Bumrah died. His mother nourished him very nicely. Jasprit has a sister named ‘Juhika Bumrah’Juhika (Jasprit sister) is a teacher in a school of Ahmedabad. Juhika got married on 19 February 2016.

Jasprit is not married yet and is focusing only on a cricketing future.

 

Bumrah Indian Premier League Career

John Wright once noticed his talent, at that time John was the coach of Mumbai Indians in IPL. So john gave a chance to Jasprit in IPL. Jasprit Bumrah Played his first IPL match for Mumbai Indians in 2013. In his debut match of IPL against Royal Challenger Bangalore, he performed very well and got 3 wickets; which proved very beneficial for Mumbai Indians in winning that match.

 

Domestic Career of Bumrah

Bumrah played his first ‘Mohit Kumar trophy’ match in season 2012-13 for Gujrat against Maharashtra and got Man of the Match award in his debut match. In the final of that season he got 3 wickets and played a crucial role in winning Mohit Kumar trophy for Gujrat.

Jasprit Played his first first-class match for Gujrat against Vidarbha Cricket team in 2013.His performance in his debut match was excellent he got 7 wickets.

Jasprit One-Day International Career

His first ODI match on January 23, 2016, against Australia in Sydney Cricket Ground.

In 2017 Jasprit became the first fast bowler to take 15 wickets in bilateral ODI series of five or fewer matches. He is awarded by a man of the match award 2 times and one-time man of the series award.

T20 International Career

Jasprit made his T-20 debut on January 26, 2016, vs Australia.

In August 2016 he became the highest wicket-taker in a calendar year by taking 28 wickets. He got two times Man of the match award and once a man of the series award.

Test Career

Jasprit Bumrah made his Test debut in India’s tour of South Africans on January 05, 2017, against South Africa at Newlands. According to experts, his bowling will not got success in Test Format.
